robotic surgery

Expansion

Robots are playing an important role in rare surgeries. With the help of robotic surgery, even that part of the body is easily accessible, where till now there is a problem in doing open surgery or laparoscopic. Also, the patient does not need to make a big incision.

The patient’s blood loss is also less in this surgery. Also, due to the smaller wound, recovery is also faster. In laparoscopic surgery, the vibration of the surgeon’s hands often increases the problem, which has been overcome in robotics. Although its reach is not yet available in all hospitals, it is expanding rapidly.

Doctors say that open surgery requires a big incision. This is an old method and it is being used everywhere. On the other hand, in laparoscopic surgery instruments are inserted into the body by making two-three holes. The surgeon performs surgery with the help of those instruments. In this, due to the vibration of the surgeon’s hands, there may be some damage in the surgery.

Robotics is an advanced method. In this, the complete control is in the hands of the surgeon sitting on a computerized console. The surgeon gives the command and the robot performs the surgery on the basis of the command, thus eliminating the problem of vibration. Also, the internal parts of the body can be zoomed in with the 3D telescope attached to it, which makes it easier to perform surgery. However, it also has a drawback, the way the stitches can be placed after the operation with precision, while the results of robotics are not as accurate. Work is being done to improve in this direction. Doctors say that this problem will also go away in the coming days.

Targeted surgery is possible

Doctors say that targeted surgery can be done with the help of robotics. Bypass surgery in the cardiology department requires opening the chest, but surgery through robotics can easily be done without opening the chest, which takes a long time for the patient to recover. Apart from this, surgery can be done easily in other parts of the body with the help of robots.

era of technology

About three thousand doctors were discussed about the new techniques coming for the treatment of patients. In this discussion, about 80 percent of the doctors were of the opinion that the coming time is of technology. With the help of technology, not only will the treatment be easier, but the pain of the patients will also be reduced. Also, he will be able to recover soon.

robotic surgery is the future

New equipments are coming along with the time. Robotics are the upgraded versions of these devices. Since its introduction, the problems in surgery have been reduced. Patients are also getting well soon. They do not have to wait for a long time for the wound to heal. At the same time, 3D vision in robotics makes it easier to see the inside of the body, which improves surgery.

The scope of robotic surgery is increasing

With technology, the scope of robotic surgery is also increasing in hospitals. Safdarjung Hospital is one of the few hospitals in the country to have robotic surgery in cardiology. With its help, the patient’s recovery is very fast. This may be the future, it is constantly being improved and researched. New technology makes facilities simple and accessible.
